I live for my secluded getaways. It matters very little whether I'm getting away from it all in the middle of the wilderness or amid devious city streets; those moments when I am for all intents and purposes alone in the world {I have mastered the art of being alone among throngs of people) are the ones where I feel the most like myself, the bravest and the truest.
A month and a half of this, and I'm ready to leave the country again, or, at the very least, the state. I'm tying up all those loose ends, one by one.
